{PPC} Avery Elle Hop

Today I'm participating in a fun joint Blog Hop between one of my fave paper crafting tools companies, Perfect Paper Crafting, and a stamp company that I've recently found and fell in love with~ Avery Elle

For my card, I've used the Storybook set and matching dies. Isn't it exciting when stamps have cute lil matching dies? No more fussy cutting- this is fast and easy and PERFECT! And lemme tell ya, these stamps STAMP like a dream! Look at the gorgeous font here…love the various fonts that AE uses.

You'll notice a lot of matted layers on my card today. On the front I have used the Perfect Layers Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat, using the 1/16 edge on my double white and kraft CS mats. Both of these  products are on sale right now as a combo for an unbeatable price of only $22!! But for a limited time, offer ends in just a few days! Use code Jenny5% to receive a discount on top of this already crazy low price!

Here's the inside…I used one of the leafy stamps, a sentiment and another butterfly stamped and die cut.
I also used the PPC Perfect Layers Mini, using the 1/8 measurement this time.

Check out the Avery Elle Blog and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog every day from now til August 1….each company will be giving away a $50 gift certificate to two lucky commenters!

The other designers showcased today are Caryn Davies and Yainea

{SPD} You're Magic!

We've got a new sketch challenge over at SugarPea Designs for you this week!

I've used Pure Magic on my card. He is coloured up with copics and pastels, and I've added a vellum flag sentiment (MFT die and Memento Tuxedo Black Luxe ink). The star and button embellies are also both by MFT. I used my trusty Perfect Paper Crafting tools for the black matting. Use Jenny5% for your discount! And there's only a few more days left on our Perfect Layers Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat combo deal!

Here is a closeup- I added glossy accents to the stars, eyes, buttons and the spade on the card.

{RC} YOU are my happy...

Hiya! Just popping in to share a card that I made for this month's Reverse Confetti Colour Challenge

I used the new Fabulous Flamingo stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts. The sentiment is embossed in black and is from All About You stamp set (as is the inside sentiment). On the half circle panel behind the flamingos, I white embossed one of the circle patterns from the set Whole Lotta Dots and then lightly sponged over it in soft distress ink to really pick up the pattern. The banner dies are by MFT. I used the sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch #161

Here is the inside…I accidentally smudged the lime sentiment (I freakin' hate it when that happens!!! Grrrr!), but it was the last to go on, so such is life! I think I'll just give this to my hubby and he likely won't even notice, so oh well! haha

{SSSC} Happy Camper

It's been awhile since I've made an exclusive My Favorite Things card, and I had the hankering to use these camping theme stamps and dies since we are camping lovers and tis' the season!

I've used Die-namics Happy Camper for the lil' Airstream camper and the sentiment is from the Roughing It stamp set. I've also tucked in the Chicken Wire cutting plate (backed with vellum so you can still make out the wicked awesome vintage camper DP (Jillibean Soup).

Here's the inside…I used double set of footprints along with another sentiment from Roughing It. I must be in romantic mood lately. LOL! Tomorrows post will also feature a lovey dovey card! hehe!

I followed this week's SSSC and just rotated the sketch and used the camper as the half circle shape! I'm also entering this card into the current Catered Crop Challenge, which is to use vellum!

Check out what the other Sweet Stampers have got for you!

{RC} Quirky Cuties Hop!

Hey there! I'm super excited and honoured to be participating as a special guest for Reverse Confetti's Quirky Cuties Blog Hop! I am a colouring enthusiast, so this stamp line is one of my RC faves! They are such fun to colour…if you haven't picked one of these sweet characters up yet, I highly encourage you to! You definitely won't be sorry that you did- I have so much fun colouring these cuties!

You should have arrived from the oh-so-talented Stacey Schafer's blog!

I chose to work with the newest Quirky Cutie, Rocky Racoon…. I've coloured him with copics and a bit of black pastel pencil for the dark shadows. I glossed up his nose (love the heart noses!), eyes and paw pads with glossy accents. I fussy cut him out- His shirt is paper pieced- and used some foam dots to pop him up on an extended cut of the new Tag Me, Too Confetti Cut.

You'll also see Arrow, Love Note, and Tag Me Confetti Cuts used on my card.

The inside of the card features the word dies from Tag Me, Too and sentiment from Rocky Racoon, stamped in Memento Luxe Nautical Blue.

Anyone interested in some PRIZES?? Oh yeah!  TWO random commenters will win:
Studio 3 Solutions Color Cubbie + 3 Quirky Cuties (winner’s choice)…so leave comments along the way to increase your chances of winning!

Up next on the hop is my uber talented friend and favourite kiwi, Miss Sarah Gough! And if you get a little lost along the way, you can always check back at the Reverse Confetti Blog for the complete hop list. Thanks for stopping by!

{PPC/TE} Blog Hop!

Hey there! I am super excited today to be paired up with one of Taylored Expressions Designers for a bit of an unconventional blog hop of sorts!
Taylored Expressions and Perfect Paper Crafting are joining forces for some 'Crazy Dayz' of hopping! So instead of just one main Blog Hop, you'll get lots of different days to hop around to various designers blogs! Fun, huh?

I've used the really cute stamp and die set from TE called Love Bugs. I coloured with copics and added a jar die cut of thin vellum over top of the main jar die. It gives it a bit of a softer affect. I didn't adhere the vellum down (except under the lid on the top) so that you can lift it up to expose the love bugs underneath! Which have a bit of glossy accents and glitter on their lil' bums and wings, and gloss on the heart as well.

I know you are thinking 'WOW, she is genius!' right about now, but I cannot take credit for this one- I swiped the idea from my pal Sarah, who had me pining over this set ages ago :)

I used my trusty Perfect Paper Crafting tools: Perfect Layers Mini and Perfect Cutting Mat to get those oh-so-precise-layers! All of the panels are matted in 1/16" black CS. Use Jenny5% to receive a discount on all of your PPC products HERE!

Now head over to Taylored Expressions designer Kendra's blog to see what she has to show you! And remember to leave comments and 'like' Perfect Paper Crafting on Facebook for your chance to win! Both of these fabulous companies are giving away a $50 gift certificate!

Note: My layout is from the Deconstructed Sketch (#158) from a few weeks ago…I'm also adding this card to the Catered Crop Vellum challenge that's going on right now!
